Nasi Padang: Dendeng (slice fried beef), Singkong, Sambal (chili) and Ikan Bilis+peanuts with chili
@ Sinar Pagi Nasi Padang, Circular Road
Rating: 4.25 out of 5
Comments: Highly recommended to people who wanna try nasi padang with local taste (less spicy). It reminds me of my grandma home-cook. So far, it is the best nasi padang I’ve ever tried in Singapore. Totaly worth of single cent of your money and time! :)
Ayam Penyet Set
@ Marina Square Foodcourt
Rating: 3.1 out of 5
Comments: Was surprised with their newly decorated of foodcourt and I could not find the previous ayam penyet stall, end up with this and the taste is not as good as previous one, or if quoting from my friend from so-so become bad/worse. Well, for me it is due to the “sambal” (chilli) and the chicken crispiness is a bit weird. On top of that, there is no more soup that come along like it used to be! :(
@ Pedestrian Pathways, In front of Kimia Farma, Bengkulu, Indonesia
Rating: 3.8 out of 5
Comments: Nice spice with totally affordable price! It is something that Singapore Health Authority will not allow anyone to sell it in Singapore (where I live for a moment). :)
Indonesia Fried Rice
@ Ayam Bakar President, Lucky Plaza
Rating: 3.6 out of 5
Comments: The taste reminds me of my mom/aunt fried rice back then at home. The portion is reasonably filling and the spiciness of this dish is just nice for me. Should give a try if you never tasted Indonesia Fried Rice before or if you are missed the taste of it.
Friend Chicken vs Tea
Nasi Kuning Komplit
@ Pondok Jawa Timur, Wilkie Edge
Rating: 3.8 out of 5
Comments: Small portions from each various dishes were just nice, which I think worth-it to try especially to those who want to try Indonesian food in Singapore, this represents part of Indonesia.
@ BaliThai Cafe, ION Orchard
Rating: 3.7 out of 5
Comments: I was about to give higher rating for this, but when I ate it, it was way too much stiff. I think the person who cook it put too much Telor (egg), which make it difficult to cut.
